The Southlake Baseball Association (“SBA”) is/are dedicated to protecting your personal information and pledges to keep it confidential and secure, in accordance with your decisions. The SBA is rapidly developing our services to meet your needs, and therefore the SBA reserves the right to modify this policy without advance notice.
Currently this Online Privacy Policy applies to all users of this website, whether they are general visitors to the public portions of our website, or membership users who complete information forms.
Our Privacy Pledge
The SBA’s privacy pledge to you is this: we will not share any private information that personally identifies you ("Personal Information") with any third party, unless we have your consent. The only exceptions to this pledge are that the SBA reserves the right to disclose Personal Information to protect our rights or property, or as required by operation of law or the request of government regulators or other law enforcement officials and the courts (including the issuance of a valid subpoena). The SBA shall have no duty to notify you of such compliance with the law.
What Information do we Collect?
The SBA collects registration and member information through its website and registration activities for use by the SBA with the purposes for program management and communication with current and future youth season baseball program activities.
The SBA does not provide or share online player or member data with any outside entity for any reason except for the purposes of completing credit card or other financial transactions on behalf of a customer.
The SBA does not collect Personal Information directly from children under the age of 13 as directed by the FTC's Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) of 1998. Periodic email communications efforts are directed specifically to parents and families related to event notifications, rainouts, and cancellations.
The SBA does not condone or distribute unsolicited email on its behalf. All informational (online newsletters) email communication to our member database is done strictly on an opt-in basis. Recipients may opt-out of future mailings at any time by notifying the SBA Webmaster.
Additionally, the SBA learns certain information about you from your visit to the SBA website, and what the SBA does with this information depends on what you do when you are visiting the site. This policy explains how the SBA uses this information. This policy also informs you of what choices and security you have with respect to information the SBA collects.
Unless you complete one of the information forms, send us an e-mail, or use other products and services that are or will be available on the SBA's website, the SBA collects and stores only the following information about you:
This information is not linked to a user name. The SBA uses this information to measure the number of visitors to various portions of the SBA website and to help us improve our service to our members.

Any information collected and stored on the SBA website is only available for viewing by a limited number of the SBA Board of Directors and will not be used for any purpose other than administering to SBA operations unless we have your permission to utilize that information for other purposes. We reserve the right to keep all information in an off-line form, for archival purposes or as otherwise required by law.
